Man that looks good!

For those old beans that wont cook,try the pressure cooker for those,have had good results doing that.

What a combo...butterbeans and cornbread!!!

I like butterbeans that are a bit firm and not mushy...also I like putting the cornbread in the bowl and serving the beans on top with plenty of pot liquor for the bread to soak up.

This looked like a good meal to me.

I  cooked those night before last and I still have a head ache.  I put a cup full on the top of my head and my tongue tried to beat my brains out trying to get to the butterbeans. Dee
