Billy Merrill, his son Robert and I are cooking this one starting this afternoon. Weather looks good, just a little cool. Its good to get back into the swing of things but having a contest the day before Easter really stacks the activities. Monday will definitely be a day of rest.
Billy is doing Bananas Foster for our dessert entry tonight and I'll do some mac and cheese for the Anything But competition. They're doing Friday events "show" style with judges on site -- hate that. Too much like MBN where the show detracts from the food. For the main event tomorrow, Billy will cook the butt and brisket and I'll do the ribs and chicken. We got some walks last year. And, of course, we'll set the usual lofty goal of not finishing DAL
