The D day for my GMG smoker was yesterday .
I put it to the test + the smoke generator . smoked few rack of ribs , made a sweet and spicy rub and smoked it at 230 f , here i hit a problem .
the bottom rack was at 230 f but the top one was at 250 f .
i smoke my ribs for 2 hours before i foil them , so i had to rotate the smoker racks every 45 minutes .
after 2 hours i squirt the ribs with orange juice and foil them back in to the smoker for 2 hours ( rotate the smoker rack every 45 minutes ).
the last hour i brushed them with a simple BBQ sauce .
for the smoke generator i used 2 handful of pellets and i got smoke for 3 hours .
The Main thing is that this GMG modification and the smoke generator is a success and it works great .

Looking good!
You might consider venting the exhaust from lower in the cabinet. Make it more of a 'reverse flow'.
This is something I picked up for my GMG.

Looks great - very nice mods!

I have never seen this model of GMG. Does it only hold 3 racks or is that a modification you made to it to suit your cooking needs?
