Oh, that Ribeye was good with homemade Horseradish sauce.

Absolutely beautiful Aaron!  Love a horseradish sauce for my steaks. Sometimes I will catch the au jus - and mix it with fresh ground horseradish and some A-1.....( salivating just thinking about it ;D )

A1?

Does Dr. Phil approve of A1?

My wife just bought a giant bottle of it at Costco. I say, what the heck are you going to do with that?

She put it on my perfect sirloin steaks ???

I don't slather it on anything.

But just like ketchup, mayo, or mustard...A-1 can be a neat "secret ingredient" to add to a number of things.

Next time you do ribs, use A-1 instead of mustard......you may decide you like it better!

I grew up with a favorite uncle that would say "what is the meat bad"? If you asked for steak sauce....left an impression

Yeah.....I know what you mean. ;)

But use the A-1 instead of mustard when you get your ribs ready.....it works similar to the mustard - but acually has a bit of flavor in the finished product.

Man that looks good! My TBE is busted and I have been holding out to see if the SRG will ever be for sale again, but don't know how much longer I will wait.

My normal side for steaks is a nice glob of horseradish to put on the bites but I will also do some steak sauce on the side at times. A1 is good but my favorite is HP(House of Parliment) Sauce from England.

Homemade Horseradish sauce = Sour cream, dash of salt and squeeze horseradish to taste about a teaspoon to 3 taplespoons of sour cream. One time we had company over and they wondered why my Horseradish was better than the one they made at home. They were using mayonnaise :)

+1  -- this is a great little recipe to make store-bought horseradish more savory.  I mix mine about two to one.  If you ever have a chance to taste real, fresh, home-grown and prepared horseradish (very hard to find) you're in for a treat.  It is potent ( a little dab'll do ya) but has a much more pleasant (not bitter) taste.  Back when I had a regular supplier of it, I'd put a little on bologna and home grown tomato sandwiches.  YUM  ;D
