Title: Let's Talk Some Que and Other Stuff

I was invited to this board this boat by Art. Thanks for the heads up! I have been smoking for an undetermined number of decades. Started on a Weber Kettle, then did a couple whole hogs on a borrowed pig cooker, next I moved to an Amerique. Just this week I bought a used Cookshack Charbroiler in hopes of opening a cafe nearby. Will keep you posted. Even though I was raised with Eastern NC BBQ, I love it all. Look forward to learning and maybe sharing a bit.

Great to have you Loyd! Lots of variety of BBQ - and other stuff here too! The best ingredient tho - are our members. Now, you are one as well. SO, bring some Down East flavor and share some recipes!

Welcome Loyd!!  I just finished reading your email.  Welcome to the site.  You will love it here.  Fair warning:  If you cook and post without pictures, you will be the recipient of all kinds of "unicorn comments".  Avoid that if at all possible.  Keep us posted on your progress with your cafe.  You never know.  Some of us love to go on road trips.  We might just show up at your door one day.

Thanks for the WARM welcome everyone! This forum definitely has a good feel to it. Just like that feeling when you did your first successful cook. You opened the door, or lifted the lid and you thought...wow this is cool!
