I came across this group while looking for PBC forums...and saw there was a bunch of other good stuff on here and decided to stay awhile. Grew up on the Florida/Georgia border, with 'real' pit BBQ still a good memory. Have been in the northeast since the mid 80's. Enjoy just about everything 'cooking'. Whether on the six burner Wolf I had installed when we remodeled the kitchen to my newest favorite toy - my PBC, and everything in between (I can make a mean kimchee, not too bad at sour pickles and kambucha either ;-}
The pic is the first turkey I've done on the PBC...tasted about as good as it looks.
Looking forward to learning some more on here.
(doh...forgot the attachment first time around)

Great to have you here!
Something I have failed to clarify to new members: While our name aims at BBQ as "the" subject of discussion...ALL recipes for food prep, cooking and preservation are not only welcome...we NEED them.
One of my goals for LTBBQ is to build our recipe library into something truly phenomenal. It is really good now, but there plenty of electrons just waiting to get to work!
So....anyone with recipes to share - please add them to the sections we have - or suggest new ones when needed.
