Hi everyone name here is Rick I live on the east coast of Florida. Wife an I  are retired. just bought a Big Easy SRG . and need to learn
more about cooking. I already cooked Turkey (had to put back in for an hour more after 3.5 hours of time My mistake) just the other day someone told me IF YOUR LOOKING YOUR NOT COOKING. I also have a Gas/charco Grill with a smoker box on it. by reading some of the post here I can see I have a lot to learn.  thks for my membership !!  Rick  :-\

I too have the gas/charcol combo with smoker box (smoke hallow), it took me about a year to get used to it but it does wonders for me.  Good luck!

Welcome from mid Alabama. If there is a bad thing about this forum it will be that you joined to learn about the SRG but after you read about all the other cookers folks here use, you will go broke buying other cooking gear.
