Title: WSM hinged lid and Weber Kettle Hinged lid
Post by: smokeasaurus on January 04, 2015, 11:54:34 AM
The Good Ole Boys over at Unknown BBQ have done it again. I got their SS hinged lid for my 22.5 kettle a couple of months back. USA made, all hardware included, just got to drill 4 holes. Works perfectly.

They now offer the same quality hinged lid that will fit the WSM 18.5 and 22.5 cookers.

Nice addition to a Weber!!  I like it.  May have to consider adding it.  I think I want the Vortex first, however.

I like that! Makes a lot of sense to me...
But, in looking over their site I found an expression of their accomplishments : “the masters of Florida style bbq,”...AND...I am not picking on our Florida LTBBQ'ers when I ask...WHAT *IS* Florida "style" BBQ.....? I am curious.

Does that mean you have to include gator on your menu?

I'd seen the one for the WSM, but is the one for the Kettle a new product?

The only reason I haven't gotten it is that the cover sooooo tight, I don't think it would still work.  If I ever decide to put a roof over the deck . . . .

Smoke this might make for a good "Hub" thread...Let me call him and see if we can get a PhB.'s definitions of the defining regional styles and the differences...
