Firstly thank you allowing me join.
My name is Nick, I am a native of the UK, and live in Oxfordshire
I cook on a Pit Barrel Cooker and a Green Mountain Grill Davy Crockett.
I spent a few years living and working in The USA, and first developed my love of real BBQ in Texas.
As much as I love the eating, I find preparation , experimentation and the cooking most satisfying.
Watching friends and family enjoy their first taste of real Q ( the majority of the UK population have no idea) gives me a real buzz. I look forward to absorbing some of the collective knowledge.

That's a fair price and I am surprised it is not higher. Thanks for the answer.

Welcome from central California. Enjoyed my years flying out of RAF Mildenhall. Cooked on a weber then. I also discovered the love of a PBC recently along with my Traeger.
Do you cook your beef bone-in? Yanks were able to buy T-bones on base so I was popular with the locals when I fired up the grill.
Still have my greenhouse from the DIY.

Thanks for the welcome. Ex RAF myself spent some good times at Mildenhall both operations and Air Fete.
I was born and brought up near Upper Heyford and had USAF neighbors, so early exposure to T Bone .
Generally speaking the British don't do bone in cuts of meat. Due to a variety of reasons, mostly bogus health scares. Luckily I have a good butcher who understands the flavor giving properties of bone and fat.

Welcome from Nebraska, the heart of the over-fattened beef industry.
Watching friends and family enjoy their first taste of real Q ( the majority of the UK population have no idea) gives me a real buzz.
I imagine that is fun. I, too, get extra enjoyment from cooking for my family. I view each meal as a little hand-made gift for them.

Welcome from Florida. I have had the great pleasure to work with many colleagues from the UK while in CITIGROUP and I must say they were all great to work with. Great work ethic, great sense of humor . Was in London once and loved it as well. So.. Welcome! Wonder if you can do Bangers and mash on the PBC?
