Title: St Louis style ribs today.....
Post by: Saphra3006 on March 16, 2015, 03:15:54 PM
Just popped 2 slabs of ribs in the SRG.....marinated about 24 hrs in a little zesty Italian salad dressing, then rubbed one slab with Rendevous dry rub seasoning, and one with Rub Some Butt dry rub. We are using the rib hooks. Does anyone wrap their ribs in foil when using these hooks?

I don't have an SRG, so I can't answer the foil question, but the marinade & rubs sound good so far.

If possible, get some pics to post so we can enjoy your ribs too!  :)

Hi, I never rub ribs before starting them in an SRG so not sure where to go other than this.

Cook 35 to 45 mins then wrap in foil let go another 40 to 45 mins the remove from foil then place back in SRG for about 15 to 20 mins more to get them crispy.

I always cook naked first 30 to 35 mins then rub & wrap , back in for another 40 to 45 mins remove and then crisp

Let us know how they do
