Title: Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse
Post by: smokeasaurus on April 27, 2015, 12:27:07 PM
We went to this place over the weekend. Anyplace with a Western/Cowboy theme has The Smokes interest  8)

I went for the 16 oz Rib-eye. They do not season their steaks. Just a ginormous Santa Maria Style pit filled with Mesquite Wood.

I darn near got misty-eyed when my fork slipped in this 1 lb pc of beefy awesomness like warm butter.

It was hands down the best steak I ever had and I will never go anywhere else for a steak.

I have never been but sounds good Smoke!

They have one in San Dimas and Colton. May have to try it.

The Colton location is real close to the house once we come down the mountain.  Well worth the coin  :) :)

Also worth mentioning, they give you a big squeeze bottle of A1 steak sauce when they serve you. I jokingly told the waitress to cancel our order since their steaks could not be any good if they offer steak sauce.

She assured me, it is only offered cause some people just insist on it.......maybe they are old Sizzler customers  :D :D

Any steak house that gets "The Smokes" seal of approval is good to go in my book. I checked the menu and the prices are very inexpensive for a good steak. Gonna try it next time I get to CA.

Sounds good, but need a bigger steak. 32 ounces would be a good size.

if the steaks are as good as smoke says (And I know they are) their prices aren't that bad. A good steak at one of those other places would cost twice that.

This was my first "expensive" steak at a restaurant. I usually get the 6.99 per lb steaks at the market when they go on sale. So, maybe there are better steaks out there. But I tell ya, I sure liked their rib-eye over that mesquite .... :P :P
