So you are probably thinking, what in the heck is The Smoke doing posting in the gas grill section. Well, we have a electric range and oven in the house and the power is always going out up here. I heard once for 4 days straight. So that leaves us with the charcoal grills and the Blackstone. I figured we needed a gas type burner for outside to boil water, heat soup, that sort of thing. Amazon had a real sweet deal on a 3 burner camping stove. Grabbed it.
lo and behold when I got the order confirmation from Amazon, I read that the stove came with a free two burner cast iron grill. Score 8) 8) We have been using it all week, heck where we live it is like camping 24/7/365 anyhhows.
So Wendy cubed up some London Broil and marinated it in her top secret meat tenderizer/marinade. She defrosted some shrimp. Cut up some mushrooms, zuccini, green pepper and white onion and skewered em up.
I sure love that girl :-* :-*
Here is the Camp Chef set up

The grill is real nice. It has a metal bottom attatched to it with cut out vents that radiate the heat up to the split cast iron grates......sounds like infrared to me ;) ;)

You are going to love that Camp Chef stove. I have had on on my for over 12 years. I don't have the grill box. I use mostly cast iron griddle and skillets. I have the Camp Chef pizza oven which is great. I use it for my shrimp and crab boils too. My favorite cooking tool.
