Title: Cook Like Jack
Post by: LostArrow on September 12, 2015, 03:03:45 PM
Jack is taking backyard stick burning to a higher level!
Well the weather is great , got a lot of pecan splits so 4 butts on the cooker!
Mustard base , Fine Swine & Bovine & on the smoker!
Small charcoal base , then a pecan split when the temp drops to 200F .
Adding a split bout every 45 minutes.
Woo-Hoo

Wood is king.
Just don't run out of adult beverages.

I am only about 4 hours away. If you will let me know when you fire up the pit I should be there in time to eat. I will bring the adult beverages.

That's the way to do it LA...

my smoker is just a bit bigger than your's, so it is more of a 2 to 3 split cooker at 250.

Wish you could be here for the Cookout.
