I have a question. I just received my rec tech mini. I smoked a 7lb pork shoulder could not get a butt last minute and some Chicken wings. The shoulder took about 15.5 hours I wrapped it about 8 hours into the process it was bit dry but tasty and limited smoke. The wings were good but no smoke flavor about 2 hours on the smoker. I have read about the smoker tube. Will that really help I got a smoker for some smoke flavor I’m just a bit concerned about this as I continue to use it. Any advice?

Thanks for watching! Sorry to answer a question with a question, What temp did you have the rec tec at? On mine it smokes quite a bit at the lowest setting which is 180 The hotter I have the less amount of smoke I have. I would think if you had it on for 15 hours that you had pretty low. Another question would be what type of pellets you are using, maybe try something else.
Finally, Pellet grills in general don't give off heavy smoke you can try to supplement with a smoking tube and see how that works for you... Thanks :)

Ben thinking some more about the smoke issue, I will try some ideas this weekend to try and produce more smoke and make a video of it also. Stay tuned :)
