Tommy, not sure if you know this but you can legally patent an improvement on someone else's product. Then you can contact the company and sell, or license it to them. You could be making money!

Yeah, it's too late on those. I am willing to bet they got the idea from your posts! If you want to patent something, DON'T discuss or post about it until you have filed for a patent first.
-
Tommy you really should look into it. Pretty blatant they took your ideas in my opinion.
Not sure if you should be humbled or upset... Or both
-
Yea folks kept telling you you need to start patenting your ideas on the big easy. I know I used about every mod you came up with .

I know I just never really thought the ideas would be used by them :(
I did submit the pellet grill SRG to them 7 months ago and yesterday got a reply say it's not the type of cooker they are looking for right now
So keep your eyes open folks, CharBroil will have a pellet SRG soon :D :D :D ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

I still say your missing the boat, " TMB Enterprises". Got a nice ring to it, You take your ideas find someone to back it, market it, manufacturer it and your in the money! I know, I know as a former business owner it's not that easy. But if you market the right idea, it will sell itself. :)
Just Sayin....

Does anyone know if this will fit in the BEESR?
-
Oh well Tommy.......come on over and join us at the "Day late and a dollar short" club :D
-

No it will not fit. Chamber size of the BEESR is the same as the Big Easy. The SRG chamber is 2 or 3 in's larger in diameter

I may be wrong but I do not think that you have to worry about any "infrared" patent. I had one of the first infrared gas grills made by Thermal Engineering Corp located in Columbia, South Carolina. Nice grill, all thick stainless, and expensive. The manufacturers have improved this technology. It was made in 1995. I think that their patent expired and Charbroil was one of the first to start using that technology which should be open to everyone?
