Post by: Scallywag on June 14, 2016, 08:59:44 PM
So I spent 5 days in Scottsdale Arizona for a work awards trip, how the bloody heck does anyone live there??? Average temp was 108.. That's close to the temp of the sun lol. I managed to get in 9 holes of golf, couldn't finish the last 9

That is perfection. I played a round in Arizona where they had air conditioner units that blew cold air on your neck. Made it barely tolerable

That was an awards trip? This time of year people in AZ go to hell on vacation to cool off. I don't know about AZ, but here in Alabama, rattlesnakes will chase you and attack. At least you had some good food when you got home.

It is good to be home when you got that kinda grub :P.

The last time I was in Arizona...darn near 20 years ago on a business trip to Motorola in Scottsdale, it was 123 during the day when we were there. The next morning it when we left it was 118 and climbing......you can have that noise  >:(

Agree with the weather.   Lived there for 3 years going to school.  Over a 100 in the mid of the night.  Had to get away from the heat

Steal looks outstanding

Art

Years ago I had a business trip to Phoenix.  It was a typical really hot day.  After checking into my motel, I decided I needed a swim.  Jumped into the water, hoping to cool off.  Water was like a hot bath.  However, when I got out of the pool, I developed goose-bumps.  The hot dry air literally dried me so fast that I got chills.  Strange feeling.
