Post by: bamabob on July 04, 2016, 11:48:58 AM
Stuffed some Jalepenos with a spicy smoked gouda & goat cheese mixture, topped off with a stuffed Peppadew Picante Pepper.  Served with Goose Island Ales and tuna salad wrap.

Confucius say : Careful! Pepper can burn twice. Have many popsicicles on hand. You may need two at a time.... ;) :D

Spoken from personal experience, I believe.

The burn is worth it though. Nice appetizer. I'd eat all six myself.

If you've never had the Peppadew peppers I sure recommend them.  A sweet very mild heat. everyone that has tried them asks what they are, thought they were stuffed cherry 'maters until they bit into one.  Sometimes can find them in the olive bar of places like whole foods or fresh foods.  We buy the hot in a jar from iGourmet.
