Hey there!  My name is Chris and I LOVE BBQ, bourbon, and beer.  Specifically, brisket, ribs and pulled pork.  I currently only have a gas grill (which I have turned out some decent ribs on, through 2 zone indirect cooking) but I'm looking to get into smoking on something designed for that purpose.  I look forward to meeting everyone here and for learning all that I can!

Take some time and browse through all the cooker categories.  There's no one perfect cooker, but you can make a step up from your gas grill that you'll really enjoy.  Don't toss the gasser, though.  Many of us have one and there are uses.  Feel free to ask questions!
