Title: Dear Santa,...
Post by: TentHunteR on November 28, 2012, 10:25:08 AM
Dear Santa,

I TRIED really hard to be a good boy at least once this year (sorry it didn't work). So to make up for it, instead of milk & cookies, I left you BACON!!! ;D

For Christmas, I would like:

1) A bigger, better grade of slicer. The one I got last year is OK, but I would like to be able to slice bigger rashers of bacon.

2) The MAK WiFi module for my MAK (if the elves at MAK Grills get it done in time).

What's on your Christmas list this year?  ::)

Cast iron grates for my weber, welding gloves for the weber so I can avoid the burn unit, and the wifi for my Mak would make me a happy camper too.

dear santa,

its me sparky.  i've been a very good boy  ::).  i did everything my wife told me to do most of the time and supported her while she is going to school full time.  i only drank in moderation (expect thankgiving, xmas, new years, new years day, 4th of july, indy car race, super bowl, kentucky derby, veterens day and my b'day).  i have always been there for my kids whenever they needed me (hate the 3 am calls.  dad, can you come get me.  i drank to much.  ok but your paying for my steak & eggs at denny's).

1)  a new maverick pt-100.

2)  new craycourt cast iron grate for my 26.75 weber.

3)  new slippers and soft jammies.

4)  500 lbs of kingford, 200 lbs of pellets.

5)  a new cover for my brand new pellet grill (took me a month to figure out what i wanted.  thanks to squirt, tent, marty and muebe for great input).

6)  a nice $150 bottle of bourbon.

thank you santa.  oh, i left ya some pig candy, riblettes and some pulled pork bagged up.  made for special cookies for ya  ;).  eat then when you get back to the north pole (share them w/ the mrs and the elves).  8)

I would honestly just like to see the economy and country improve. A lot of people out there are not having a very good Christmas. I am very blessed with what I have and could not ask for much more :)

I would take those powerball winnings though :D

Dear Santa,

Let me just start by thanking you for that electric train and Hopalong Cassidy Cowboy outfit you gave me last year. Both six shooters still work.

This year, I have been contemplating what to ask for. I have narrowed it down to some sort of pellet pooper. Give me a couple of weeks to get recommendations from all my friends on this forum and I will get back to you. Thanks for your patience. IR2dum

I really NEED an FEC 100 no matter what my wife says about it.  Oh, and one of those winning lottery tickets instead of the defective ones my Quickee Mart sells.

I tried the diversion tactic, let her catch me drooling over $3900 smokers thinking that the PBC might be a pacifier. That did not work as planned.

Maybe we should all get a letter from PBC saying we have been selected to participate in a focus group for the PB cooker.

I think they need to offer a PBC painted up like a giant clay pot - and put a painted  steel sunflower on top of it..... ;D... Great camoflage...and she might go for it then. :D :D :D

Probably would not help, as I am in the layoff mode job wise. My former fellow employees do miss my "Q" so I was thinking about a cheapo little trailer to load up my 2 Big Easy's for wings and a PBC and maybe my Traeger. I could do pulled pork with home made onion rolls, Briskit and Quarters on the PBC.  Should be ok for a little compact. I have combined these cooks very well before and I do miss it. Hope for a better 2013.

Or how about painting a recycle sign on it. Although you may end up with recyclables in it you can clean them out. Then after a few weeks drop some charcoal in it and say " oh honey I think I can cook in the thing! Gonna give it a try ;) "

My wish is for a better year for SS and those others who are going through trials we may not be aware of. I think it is great that we have a place like this where folks from all other the world and from all walks of life can come together and talk about our common passions.
