I smoked some wings in the GMG last night.
Pretty simple cook. Just dusted the wings with my own rub & into the fridge for about six hours.
Smoked @ 275°.

Added some veggies & a glass of white wine.

Made a nice light (relatively speaking) dinner.

I still have the Davy Crockett near the top of my list. Looks like it'll hold good bit of food.

I will be bringing mine to the next get together Jack so you can get a first hand view of it.

Brisket may be the Holy Grail of barbecue, chicken wings have to be up in that rarefied air ... love me some good wings. Nice cook!

I really like mine.
The smart phone app works great!
It won't cook a truckload of food at one time, but it is perfect for everday smoking for just a few people.

Those wings look good. When I bake wings I use this method:
https://www.seriouseats.com/2010/02/the-best-baked-buffalo-chicken-wings-in-oven-not-fried-appetizers.html
It produces the absolute crispiest non-fried wing I have ever had. I have to plan for wings the day prior, but its worth it. It has to work in a smoker as well.
Besides Amazing Ribs, Serious Eats is my next favorite spot for the science and techniques for cooking.
