Title: Lamb Roast
Post by: GusRobin on May 14, 2018, 09:56:56 PM
Wife is off visiting the granddaughter so I am by myself a few days.
So I thought I would make a lamb roast. Bought  5 lb one, cut off 2 lbs and vac sealed the rest. Spiced it with rosemary, thyme, garlic, greek seasoning and lemon juice. Netted the roast. Cut up and seasoned some potatoes and put in a pan with the roast.

Put in the RecTec at 350* for a couple of hours until the IT reached 130*

Sliced and plated with the roasted potatoes. There was a salad but I forgot to get a pic, but it was nothing exiting anyway.

It came out great. Had some left over so I cut it cubes and put in the freezer with the stew meat collection. (I save the leftovers from steak, roasts, briskets, sausage etc and when I get 2-3 lbs I make "Gus' leftover stew")

That does look good Gus, & the "leftover stew" sounds like something I would love to try.
