I like food with a long history. Have been wanting to try HB Sauce. So when I saw a bottle in the international section of my favorite grocery store I thought why not.
I was making pot roast sammies tonight so I put some on. I liked it. Nice tang like Worcestershire sauce.
Any other fans? Any recommended uses outside of beef?

Wasn't sure what HB Sauce was, and when I googled it, came up with HP Sauce.....is that a typo? Had never heard of HP Sauce either. Kinda looks like a British A-1/steak sauce?

I like HP sauce. Parents are Scottish so they always had some. Love it on some Scotch Meat Pies or some Bangers and Mash :D

From Wikipedia: "HP Sauce is a brown sauce originally produced by HP Foods in the United Kingdom, now produced by the H. J. Heinz Company in the Netherlands. It was named after London's Houses of Parliament. Since its first appearance on British dinner tables, HP Sauce has become an icon of British culture." Ingredients described as: "HP Sauce has a tomato base, blended with malt vinegar and spirit vinegar, sugars (molasses, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar), dates, cornflour, rye flour, salt, spices and tamarind. It is used as a condiment with hot and cold savoury food, and as an ingredient in soups and stews"
Made by Heinz out of the Netherlands.
