Title: Y'all please add my Son and his family to your prayer list

Last night around 8 PM my son has a banging on his door as they just laid the kids down for the night.  A young man kept yelling and banging, so being he is a deputy he said first instinct was grab his gun and see what in the world was going on.    Come to find his house was on fire! 

All got out and are fine, the house however did take a lot of smoke and water damage, but that's what insurance is for.      As long as they are safe I'm good with it. 

But they will be out of a house for awhile and the kids will be passed between all the family for a bit but there safe and sound and my 3 year old grandson was amazed at all the fire and deputies that showed up

Tommy I am so sorry. Is everyone safe? That person knocking on the door may have saved lives. Thank God for the good people out there. I will be praying for him & your family. Richard

Thanks Richard, I was up till 1 AM getting the grand kids to the house and setteled in right now working on 3 hrs of sleep.  Went to bed around 1 and was up at 4 AM because my grand daughter decided to keep her normal schelule  ;) which is fine buy me  :thumbup:

Glad to hear that everyone is safe and sound.  Looks like the damage was mostly contained to the garage.  You're right, insurance can take care of the rest, you just may need to stay on top of them a little bit.  I went though this back in 2002, that's how I know ! ! !  (My girls and I ended up in a hotel for six months.)

Horrifying experience!!  We are glad everyone is in good health. 

We experienced a fire many years ago.  My wife has no sense of smell.  She called me at work and the only word I understood was "FIRE"!!  Surprised I didn't get a ticket.  I wound out my '69 Chevelle getting to the house.  Turns out, all was good.  Scared are the living H@ll out of me.
