Well, not really, since you'd probably have to board a plane or ship for at least part of the trip. But if you want to sample McDonald's latest taste treat, you'll have to go there next week when they introduce the SPAM & Oreo Burger. And for only about $2.

Turtle, I'm in. Maybe, by the time the Olympics gets here next summer, the SPAM and Oreo Burger will have found its way to Japan. I'll stop in Honolulu and pick you up so we can enjoy this tasty new treat together. Are you in?

I'll leave my share for others on here to enjoy......It is all yours ???

well..... I am very disturbed by this.
I love spam. Can eat it almost any way you serve it.
Oreos are good. when I'm in the mood for a cookie they will satisfy my craving.
So maybe.
On second thought, No, I think I will have to pass.

Unfortunately, according to the posts I saw, it's going to be a short-term offer only in China (possibly at least partially paying them back for the COVID-19 thing). If, however, that changes, I'm in. If not, you better stop by here for a couple of days anyway - we can always make our own.
OBTW, how did we get to know so many culinary cowards? Tee I understand (he never did get over that "poignant moment" with Ronald) but I thought at least some of the rest of them would accept the challenge.

Turns out this was a one-day offer of 400,000 units (https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/mcdonalds-china-oreo-spam-burger-intl-hnk/index.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+rss%2Fcnn_travel+%28RSS%3A+CNN+-+Travel%29). Comments ranged from ... "Oreos and luncheon meat are surprisingly delicious [together]. "I thought the sweetness and the savory wouldn't match but it was unexpectedly harmonious and tasty" to the somewhat less complimentary, "It was sour and sweet and savory. I could taste the flavors of carsickness."

Turtle, I knew that you would accept the challenge and I thought that Tee had an iron stomach and would certainly accept. What happened to all these "inquiring minds"? I guess we will never know.
It looks like it is easy to reproduce at home...only consisting of two thick slices of grilled SPAM, some crumbled Oreos, mayo, on a sesame seed bun. Sounds like a good experiment for Backyard Jack's Cookout.
