Now that I've eaten all the pulled pork sammies this week, I need some creative suggestions for using up the balance of the pork. The best suggestion will receive a bottle of Instant Gourmets Awake-a-Steak as a thank you. .. Phil

Pulled Pork Hash
1 1/2 cup pulled pork (chopped into bite sized pieces)
2 to 3 potatoes, 1/2 inch diced
1 carrot diced, green pepper, red pepper, 1/4 inch diced (optional)
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, diced or pressed
1 chipotle pepper in adobo, diced (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
cooking oil
Put diced potatoes in a pot of cold water and heat to boiling. When water boils, drain, dry and cool. You don’t want to cook the potatoes all the way. You’ll cook them some more in a minute.
After the potatoes are cool and dry, brown them in some oil.
Add onions and cook for 2 or 3 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients, mix and cook until everything is warm and tender.

You can basically use it in any recipe you would used cooked ground beef in. Dee

Some Brunswick Stew would be nice in this chilly weather.

RON D ... I enjoyed every suggestion but Ron's really caught my taste buds. I love beef hash made with left over prime rib, so why not pork. WOW! Thank you. Send me your email address to plamarc1@verizon.net. Awake-a-Steak will be on it's way. Phil

TY Phil....if it is as good as the Original I know I will love it. Between Penzys, Tee and now Phil I got so many new spices and it is fun cooking with them all

"Left Over Pork".......whats that????
Actually I vote for Pam - Beans.
Phil, I thought we were going to get samples of Awake-A-Steak anyhow. Can't wait to try it.

I too like the bean idea from Pam but I have been doing that for years. In fact doing today to go with a neighbors roasted whole pig. Regarding Awake-a-Steak. It is costly to send 25 full bottles plus postage, so I can't do that every week. Smile. I will bo offering again after the 1st of the year. Happy New Year everyone. Phil
