This was one of the things we cooked up for game day. Nothing fancy or difficult; just a twist on Moink Balls. But they ended up taking center stage.
Cream Cheese Filled Moink Balls
I mixed up 3 pounds of meat balls: 2 lbs ground beef, 1 lb ground pork, salt, pepper, onion, garlic & parsley.
You can use your favorite meatball mix
Stuffed some cream cheese in each (sorry for the blurry pic).

Wrapped each in bacon

Onto the MAK at 400° until done.

These will definitely get a repeat performance at our house!
Thanks for looking.

Looks good! But I'd take mine with a hunk of chedder and HOT sauce instead of cream cheese ;)

That looks great. Try blue if you like it next time. Just something a little different.

wow the simplest ideas come out the best, I can't believe I didn't think of or try this. It's now on my list, great post!

There is one more thing I want to add to these when I make some.....
I typically finish my moinks witha a nice drizzle of a sweet/hot finishing sauce made from fine strained blackberry preserves, apple cider vinegar, and some jalepeno powder ...
The sweet heat, as a contrast against the savory meaty moink ( now with cream cheese! Thanks to Cliff!) should be awesome. ;) :)

I actually thought about doing something similar, but time was a little short. I love that sweet-heat combo. Apricot & red pepper is really nice.
Here's another idea we did once: You know those crock-pot meatballs with the Grape Jelly & chili sauce? Try mixing some grape jelly with BBQ sauce and add a little heat and put the cooked moinks in that - YUM!!!

WOW!
That would do it Cliff!

I'm gonna try both ways - and different cheese types. Thanks for the inspiration!
