Title: Hello from the land of Cheese, Brats and Beer
Post by: FrozenTundra on February 25, 2013, 09:56:45 PM
I'm from NW Wisconsin, been smoking for 10+ years, I mainly use my BGE and FEC-120 but I also have an Traeger and older Cookshack 55

Just got a WIFI Stoker and tested it out on the BGE today.

Rich,

Ashland, WI

Welcome from MN! Used to live in WI - Racine. Many years ago, would come up to Telemark to ski - always enjoyed a stop in Ashland.

Cheers,

David

Welcome, FrozenTundra.  Do you ever do brats on your Traeger?  I'd take a lesson on that.

Thanks for all the welcomes!

Welcome, FrozenTundra.  Do you ever do brats on your Traeger?  I'd take a lesson on that.

I do, normally I preheat on high with oak pellets because I get the hottest temps with them and place them around the edges and I can usually get some decent charring that way, they always turn out good.
