Title: Can a pit barrel cooker survive Lost Arrow?
Post by: LostArrow on March 04, 2013, 08:33:47 PM
Ok, @ home I take care of my cookers.
But at hunting camp a cooker could well be used, & left outside full of ashes for a month at a time.
The only cooker that's survived long term is made of 1/4 in drill pipe!
Way gauge steel is the pit barrel , barrel made from?
How resistant to abuse is it?

LA if I was still on a hunting lease I'd buy a 22"OldSmokey
at $64 it's expendable

LA- The PBC is very durable, we also have a catering company and use them at every event.. Loading, unloading, banging against other things.. It should last you quite a while. Thanks- Amber

Sandman- We have cooked everything from Prime rib, duck, cedar plank salmon (these are mostly weddings, upscale events) but our most popular is our staple menu which is tri tip and chicken! People absolutely love those off the PBC!
