Title: Uncle Bubba's In Savannah, HA
Post by: nepas on January 12, 2012, 01:00:09 PM
Uncle Bubbas is Paula Deens brothers place. Located in Savannah, GA

Food is good and reasonably priced. Great service too.

Took a friend there Monday night on his way to Florida.

Glad to hear that.  Used to drive down there when it was The Snapper for special ocassions such as birthdays. Tried Bubba's one day and it was closed.  Great location.  Oysters on the grill at home are great. Dee

nepas - Just realized I forgot to tell you to check out The Pink Pig (http://www.the-pink-pig.com/) (BBQ in Hardeeville) and The Squat & Gobble (Greek/Southern food in Bluffton).  Get out there and report!

I live in N.J., but I have been to Bubba's 4 times.  I love the atmosphere, the view, and the sweet tea.
A must have are the fried pickles, and the shrimp and grits.

I have found that vodka in anything makes it better, well maybe not a FT.

I just visited their website and their menu makes your mouth water.

Entrees are pretty much in the $25.00 area or above. But, a good seafood dinner is not cheap.

Too bad they were not in San Antonio.

Still haven't made it to Uncle Bubba's and I have been here almost 10 years.
Rick, if you ever hit Jacksonville check out the 4 Rivers Smokehouse. The food is excellent
especially the brisket and the prices are very reasonable for what you get which is a lot
of food. The only day they are closed is Sunday.  I forgot to take my camera last weekend. We got there around
1:00 PM and it was standing room only.
