You are going to love your new Old Smokey. What I like about grilling on it is that there is more distance between the cooking and charcoal grates so you grill slower which works out good for chicken. It just seems like a more relaxing experience with the Smokey than on other grills for lack of a better description.

I don't even know if that makes sense.....kinda off kilter today...........

I love these, but even my wife could figure out that there is nothing it would do that the rest of my toys haven't got handled already.

I'm I big charcoal dummy, and I'm loving mine so far! I know you have had some real quality pits before so do not be put off by these tin buckets. They do a pretty good job.

Jack, I did the same thing with the bottom vent on my Weber Performer so I can adjust the bottom vent without havint to open the cooker and look.
