As a rule, I'm not a fan of chain BBQ restaurants. I've tried FD's before and not happy with the ribs, until someone put a bug into my ear about ordering them naked and adding your own sauce at the table. Yum....mucho better 8)
Any way, Famous Dave's just came out with a new item....Brisket Burnt Ends. Available as an appetizer or a sandwich. I finally got around to trying them y'day and I can tell ya right up front......Dave has hit a winner!! :)
The crappy photo doesn't do this sandwich justice. The Ends are lightly coated with the Sweet & Zesty sauce, right out of the kitchen. I added the Texas Pit and enjoyed every last bite :P

Oh my that does look good. I pass famous daves twice a day.

I use his pickles (costco $5.49 for a big jar) all the time when i cater. they are most excellent and people love them, as do I

Used to hit one for dinner when I traveled through Buffalo. It was next door to the hotel, and the guy who worked for me in the city like it, so... It was okay at that specific location. Haven't been to one in years, and there are none anywhere near me (hard to even imagine them doing business in Texas). Too bad. I wouldn't have minded trying the ends.

That Sammie looks like it is worth a try. Have one in my town.....but I never go

As with most commercial BBQ places they way over sauce stuff. Ordering it without sauce is a good idea.
And that sammie does look real good!

I haven't had that problem at my location - actually they use a fairly light hand - and do a nice "feast"! I assume it will vary by location.

I'm not so sure which of these two is the most famous.
