If you are like me my friends often ask " what kind of grill/ smoker should i get?"
A friend of mine , who's grill burned out asked what kind he should get.
Well he wants gas, his grill sits outside , uncovered, & never undergoes maintainence.
He gets about 2-3 seasons out of his last few grills .
Fortunately when I bought a gas grill 6 years ago for my son Dufuss, i researched & found a gasser that is as bullit proof as they come ::)
For a small grill I recommend a Weber Q-220 , and for a medium a Weber Q-320
The body is cast aluminum , won't rust out even with standing water in the grill.
The burner is 18/8 stainless & even if rusts out is easy to replace for $20.
There are no flame tamers, the heavy cast iron grate functions as one!
The grate if it rusts can easily be re seasoned .
The cart is heavy duty plastic (Q-320) and aluminum & plastic Q-220 won't rust!
The starter is easily accessed & can be replaced in 5 min.
On top of it all its a really good gas grill!!!

Good write up LA, it sounds like one excellent gasser.....

For a good, reliable, long-lasting product in either a gasser or a charcoal cooker, Weber has long been a leader. I'm sure they are working on a pellet machine, too, and when they bring it to market it will be a good one!
