Title: Reuben In A Tube
Post by: ACW3 on June 18, 2013, 07:05:53 PM
At the KOA Get Together, Chris (Tenpoint5) gave me some of the Reuben sausage he had made.  I took it out of the freezer and cooked it up for dinner.  With rye bread and some yellow mustard, it was really good.  Tasted just like a Rueben.  Go figure!  Chris’ “Reuben In A Tube” was a hit.  I have to added this to my list of sausages to make.

Plated and ready to eat.

Almost done…

Add this sausage to your list.  You won’t regret it.

Still working on that one Art. Need to get rid of some of that moisture. So you don't have to have a Water hose next to the grill when cooking them. Got a couple of other projects on the radar for the near future. Need to get the White Lab coat back out for Mad Scientist Mode!!

Glad you liked them

Sounds good, what did you put in the sausage to make it reuben, kraut, 1000 island?

Never had reuben sausage but ate at a little English pub in Chattanooga that had Rueben "egg rolls" that were great.

Chris (Tenpoint5) will have to answer that question.  All I know is that they were good.
