Welcome from Morganton, NC. Tell us more. Where in Western NC do you reside? What your experience level is with outdoor cooking.

Thanks for the welcome! 8) I am hoping to learn a lot, it would be nice to be half as good at BBQ and grilling as I am at photography/ painting.
The experience that I have with outdoor cooking is with cooking with a Weber kettle grill and occasional campfires.

No problem with whatever cooker you use - they all work if they work for you. I am looking forward to your photos (food, cooks or anything else - I enjoy photography!) And, if you want to paint the results of one of your cooks - that would probably be a first and very well appreciated!
Have some fun!

Most of my photography business is portrait work but I do some food photography (https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-FstIimcYXm0/Ucgo45ipCKI/AAAAAAAAAIM/V3X7IucvHBU/w537-h350-no/2010210b.jpg)
I do have somewhere in one of my backup drives, an attempt at a painting of peppers :) I have a feeling I disliked it so much that I hid it away from even myself. :D
