Title: Targeted Marketing
Post by: squirtthecat on June 25, 2013, 01:50:55 PM

I just sit next to the break room microwaves while everyone reheats their leftover dinners, Lean Cuisines, cup-o-soups, etc..     ;D

Yep!  ;)

We're selling more Red Beans & Rice than anything.  Go figure..   Probably because you can't find anything like it around here.

A friend took this late on our quiet 'opening day' - which was just 2 weekends ago.   (adult beverages were tucked out of sight)

The wife of a local Sports Talk Radio host saw this picture I posted on Facebook, and raced over for some "drive in BBQ" to take him for dinner.    We got a nice plug on his show yesterday!

I like to nuke my leftover smoked goodies about 10 minutes BEFORE everyone goes to lunch.

I should bring extras and sell it.

A few years ago my company built a new combined operations and office building.

As control room operators we had access to a small kitchen and on day shift I would cook up some bacon. The HVAC system would carry that thru the hole building.

Drive everyone nuts ???

It seems to me that Chinese restaurants have a big set of fans blowing the smell of their cooking out into the parking lots.  It always smells so good when you walk by one.(If you can)  Dee

Thanks everyone!  It's quite an undertaking, but we're taking it slow and easy so we don't fall behind or screw up.   1 mad person will tell 20.

Squirt, have you taken any "freebies" to small businesses in the area?

Not yet.    We barely have enough refrigeration/freezer space to keep up now, so we don't want to get into that kind of 'guerrilla marketing' just yet.    But soon!   We want to make sure we can produce and deliver the same product - quickly and consistently.

We're out on the edge of an industrial park, but there are some business out there that operate on Saturdays that we want to tap in to..

HVAC guys and concrete truck drivers.   They gotta be hungry at the end of the day.   :D
