Title: ribs in the woods
Post by: sparky on August 04, 2013, 10:01:09 PM
went to the butcher today (one bad then about living out in the sticks.  it takes over a hour to get to the butcher and back.  these better be good).

fired up #69 and away we go.

a little JH pecan should work (muebe told me the pecan was better than JH sugar maple I liked.  he was right).

let the good times roll.

Ribs, beer and fishing.....my hero.

I love JH rubs. Sugar maple is my favorite. If I ever get to the store, I am buying a case ;)

I notice you just sprinkle the rub on those ribs.  I see so many wannbe's on YouTube who pile it on and then pile on the brown sugar until you can't even SEE the meat.
I'm in your camp...less is more.
You certainly do have a way with ribs.
