We do BBQ even in the winter @ -40
Looking forward to getting new ideas & BBQ recipes to add to my favorites list.
Copper River Red Salmon on the grill is a sure sign of summer.

Welcome from Ohio! Glad to see someone here from AK! I spent one salmon season at King Salmon AK in 1967 compliments of USAF. Best life memory! Looked up to see where you were & my 07 atlas said Copper Centers pop. was 362! Here is the latest from the net "Copper Center, with a population of about 370 people, has long, cold winters and relatively warm summers. Temperature extremes have been recorded from minus 74 to 96. Snowfall averages 39 inches, with total precipitation of 9 inches per year." I hope we see some great fish and salmon cooks next summer! Welcome aboard!

Welcome on board from Oregon!! Glad to see some Alaska representation on here! We have a family homestead in Nikiski, and my mom and extended fam is still in Anchorage/Fairbanks. Looking at a map, looks like I've just barely missed driving through your area when I've driven the AlCan stretch a few times!
