Title: Smoked Ham
Post by: LostArrow on December 15, 2013, 10:57:56 PM
Ham on sale,  it was in the 30's with a stout wind so on the Kamodo.
Smoked 4-5 hours , with pecan chunks. Collected the ham drippings for my pineapple reduction.
Good first meal, next meal will be 16 bean soup, & 3rd will be gumbo with ham as 1/2 the meat.
At least 4 good meals from a ham.

You know, that is a great idea! I think that I am going to follow your suit and smoke the ham that we have for Christmas in our pellet smoker to give it an enhanced flavor.

You get so many great techniques from the folks here that expands your cooking horizons.

Merry Christmas
