Saturday night I think the low temperature was 8 deg. and we got about an inch of snow. Sunday it was 12 deg. most of the day then late afternoon it started warming up and got to 35 deg. by 10 pm. This morning it was -2 deg. and supposed to get to -15 deg. tonight! That’s a spread of 50 deg. in about 48 hours.
I know we all are having some extra cold weather but that's how it was here over the week-end. Don

60 here in middle Georgia, but turning colder tonight and expecting sleet & snow storm to move thru with maybe 2 to 6 inches by Wednesday afternoon.
A lot by our standards.

We pushed 70 on Sunday and will be below 20 tonight.

With the new snow on top of the frozen stuff it started with the wind and kept growing..kinda kewl. Only 1º right now and going down to -15..windhchill -30ish. .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

in the 60's all day today. Tonight and into Thursday morning we are expecting freezing rain and snow.

That's what they said when I was stationed at "The Mountain." I don't care -10 F. is still freaking cold... even if it's a "dry" cold!!
But you are right, a dry cold is better than the wet cold we get here in the NE.

It was 71 here today Jaxon but we are expecting the same sleet and snow by Wednesday.

It was 58 on sunday and 8 degrees this morning. It got up to. 15 today. It has been crazy like that this winter.

You guys think you have it bad, here in my neck of the woods things are just getting crazy.
CBC News: Unprecedented Report: Incredible iceberg in Lake Superior headed close to Thunder Bay. The powerful winds had apparently pushed it up the Seaway. It got bigger as it moved through little open water with the continuous powerful Arctic vortex conditions pushing it along. Great Lakes cargo ships came close to being hit in the mostly frozen lakes.

Check out these picks right outside my back door. On Monday, it was mostly sunny in the mid- 60's. This is Wednesday morning and temps are in the mid-20's.
We may not survive this global warming...liable to all freeze to death.
