Title: SRG Accessories
Post by: Saber 4 on January 27, 2014, 10:03:04 PM
Anyone know of a store in the Dallas/Ft Worth area that stocks SRG accessories. I'd like to pick up an extra set of racks and maybe one of the leg racks. I'm also looking for opinions on the different styles of rib hooks that I see on the CB website?

Thanks,

Robert

Have you tried Home Depot or Lowe's?  Maybe Academy as well.  Cabela's or Barbeques Galore (right next to Cabela's in Allen) might have something...

I've tried all of them except Barbeques Galore, where is it next to Cabela's in Allen? I've never seen it or been to it.

It is in The Villages at Allen up by the Stacy road entrance.

Amazon carries many SRG accessories.  If you are a prime member you get 2nd day air (free) shipping.   No one around here stocks much more than charcoal, and that's usually Kingsford briquettes.  Academy store in Amarillo (kids and grandkids up that way--200 miles form here) so I check it out, but not much in the way of SRG stuff.   Valuable for pellets, smoking chunks, basic accessories, but that's about all.   IF you order form Amazon today, and a prime member, you'll have it Thursday evening.   Sure beats running all over the Metroplex looking for something you're not sure is in stock, IMHO.

Thanks, I'll check it out next trip to Cabela's.

Good point, I don't really want to run all over but I do like to shop as local as possible or at least in Texas before I go the internet route.

Thanks Tommy, they show out of stock but I'll be going near one of their stores tonight and I'll check and see if they have them in stock.

They show those to be out of stock. This looks interesting. Do you think it will fit inside the SRG Basket?

If going that route I'd order the half rack/leg racks from CB.  They are not much more and the hang from the side where these don't...

When I went by the local store they told me the first one was discontinued and sold out, the replacement has a V shape to it that I thought would make everything roll to the middle of the rack.

The second one wasn't in stock at that location so I didn't get to check it for size.

Thanks Tommy I'll order a couple of sets, they look to be within a quarter inch of each other in size.
