Needed a quick dinner tonight. Before leaving for work this morning I took 2 pork steaks, swabbed them with mustard and doused 'em good with Fine Swine & Bovine. Into the fridge to co-mingle! After work....snowing so no grilling, time to pull the La Cotta out of storage! Takes no longer than a burger, 3 min. a side. Very moist and juicy inside with a bit of crust on outside and using no oil! Served up with leftover sausage, eggplant, and squash pasta and baby carrots with dill butter. And a Leinie Vanilla Porter to wash it all down. 8)

P-Steak looks great. Did you cook in on top of the stove or in the oven?

I have heard not so great things about that La Cotta but you obviously know how to use it!
Looks great Gene! Love the slight charring to the pork steak ;)

I can almost taste how good they are. I love mustard marinated pork chops/steaks. Growing up, it was something my mother did with smoked chops.
Man this brings back such good memories! Thanks Gene. :)
