We would love to have a similar set-up in Illinois. Chicago and all of it's cash sucking problems could be a new state and the rest would remain Illinois.

I ain't going to comment on this. My thinking on the whole left coast has changed after "meeting" some fine folks on this forum.

We'll take SOME of y'all in Texas. No income tax at least, and not too bad on sales tax (8.25%) considering the no income tax thing.

It only takes a handful of nuts for a good fruitcake..... ;)
My point is that we are all guilty of judging a large group by the actions of a few...really not a smart thing to do - but, it is something I will bet we can all admit to. :D
