I went to a charity auction on Saturday night (we donated a BBQ dinner package), and while browsing through the rooms of silent auction items, I spotted this guy surrounded by dollhouses and girly baskets. Well, I just had to rescue it!
Silver One-Touch 22.5".

We rolled it out at the BBQ shop, and gave it a proper seasoning. Got a big pile of R/O lump screaming hot, and we tossed on a couple of our hickory smoked prime rib steaks.

Flip/flip/flip/rest.
Break out the white linens and fine silver, and Lunch (more like Brunch) is served!

Steaks look real good as well.

Congrats! They are a great tool to have in your arsenal. I like being able to choose whether I am craving the kind of flavor added by charcoal...or wood. Both are great, but there is a difference.
The nicest part about Weber's product line is that - As far as I know - anything they ever built - you can still get parts for! That philosophy is not common in the "grill world".....
-
Congrats on the new cooker.
-
It is a great way to start a day.
can you be a weber club member with an 18 years old kettle ? ;)
-
That's a classic cooker that will adapt to so many kinds of cooking. Nice score.
-
Welcome to the Weber world! Great find and steaks looks delicious!

My Performer certainly isn't the biggest, the most versatile, or the best all-around cooker I own but I still use it because it does what it does so well! There's a reason its a classic ;D

congrats on the new cooker. been loving mine.

I resisted for so long simply because I had 10 other cookers outside - 2 of those are charcoal grills. I saw this one my 22 inch kettle at a yard sale and bought it for $10.
What a bargain - what a buy!!!
B T W, it is stamped with a "K" meaning it was made in 1988.
I am still learning different techniques, etc but I am really liking it so far...

Are those two of the prime rib frozen steaks from a post some time back? They sure look good.
