Well the weather was BEAUTIFUL!! (Sorry Devo ;) ) So I wanted to cook something different so I went with country ribs on the pellet grill. Since I never had tried sear and hold (or at least I think I have not) with coutry ribs I thought why not try ;D ;D
So here they are, seared at 500+ then turned it down to smoke setting and let them ride till they hit 175 IT Moped them with sauce and even tried Super Pig + sauce on two of them (ribs on the left side on the grate)
These were very very good and even Kimmie didn't gripe about them so win win! ;) ;)

I never did sear and hold on CR's either but look good enough to try!!! Don

They sure do look mighty good! I don't believe I have taken your approach before. I usually just go straight to smoke first and then bump up the temp a bit till done.

No, the outside was similar to a steak. It had a nice little crust, not much but it was there
The inside was juicy as I had hoped.
