Was in Venice a couple of weeks ago starting a trip. I stayed in the Mestre area on the mainland. The hotel manager recommended MORO restaurant . Located near the train station and on the bus route into venice. I ordered the charcuterie plate as an appetizer. It was amazing.
Included on it was pancetta, prosciutto, sopressata , Lomo, and a spreadable salami.
The price was 10.00euro or about 14.00 us. Chef came out and told me where each meat product was made. All local,he did not make them himself.
Address: Via Piave, 192 -Venezia Mestre

That looks really good!

That brings back memories from our trip to Italy a number of years ago. We had some amazing meals. I remember buying some boar sausage toward the end of our trip. We had to eat it since we couldn't bring it back with us. So, we did! A couple of nice bottles of wine and lots of sliced meats and cheese. Actually, this sounds like what I have planned for dinner tonight. Sunday evening is our "grazing meal". Lots of plates of meats and cheeses and a couple of adult beverages. What's not to like!

IMHO I think Italy has most of the best food in the world. So simple......but so good.

Looks Excellent! And hope your trip was too Paul!

Love the food in Italy! Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Austia, not so good, IMHO. Maybe it's cause we are so accustomed to food with more flavor--like lots of green chile, red chile, etc. We couldn't WAIT to get home to have some good ole New Mexican food--rellenos, enchiladas, salsa, tortilla chips, etc.

Excellent!!! ;)
