Fire it Up! My new Toy!
« Reply #-1 on: July 26, 2014, 02:33:33 PM »
I went to North Carolina on Wednesday to meet up with Art, Tim, Hub, and others who had bought
the bulk pellets.  While there I happen to visit Academy Sports. I was checking out the BBQ area
when I spotted a grill that I have been considering a lot lately. It was a 22 incher so I bought it.

All put together!  I did order the longer legs, a temperature gauge and lid holder from Old Smokey and
they should be here the first part of the week. I am not sure yet whether I will put the longer legs on it
as sits high enough for me at this time.

Burning about a half chimney of charcoal to get the oils, etc out of the smoker.

Some pretty blue smoke.

I am planning on letting it burn out the charcoal completely. I have some boneless skinless thighs that I
will be throwing on there later today.
