Just ordered one of these for the Ohio Gathering!
« Reply #-1 on: February 11, 2015, 08:41:36 PM »
I was tempted to order one of these yesterday, but held off to get wife's opinion first before spending $100... and am glad I did.   It was priced almost $10 less today!  I snagged it for $90 + free 2-day shipping with Prime. WOOT!!!

Camp Chef 2-burner Camp Stove - Amazon

This will be nice to have at the Gathering!

I love my 3 burner Camp Chef Expedition stove. I keep on the deck all the time covered with a grill cover. It is my favorite cooking tool.

Got one this summer , have used for fish fries , boiling 80 at. Pots , & with the griddle its a great grill.
I do recommend getting the griddle made for the cooker, it's well made & you'll be able to pass it down to your grandchildren!

Tell me about this gathering. I'm in Ky so not all that far from Ohio.  Do you guys do this several times a year in different locations?

Here's the info for this one, in "Member Gatherings and Road Trips": 2015 Ohio Buckeye Gathering - Dates, Location & Info!

We are trying to get a few of these per year in various areas.  DeeStafford has hosted a Fall Gathering in Georgia for the last four years or so, and Chris (Tenpoint5) usually has a Midwest Smokeout during the Summer.

This will be the first one in the Ohio area, and if you can make it, you will enjoy meeting and hanging out with some great folks, and eating, and eating, and eating!

If I didn't have my Blackstone Griddle, I would grab a Camp Chef in a heartbeat. If Amazon doesn't have a sweet deal..usually outdoorcooking.com has super steals on Camp Chef  :)
