They're tough on seniors in Tennessee

COLUMBIA, Tenn. — When you're out of beer and need a ride to get some, who you gonna call?

Not 911.

The Columbia Daily Herald reported city police arrested a man after he called emergency dispatchers at least nine times. Most of the calls were hang-ups, but a dispatcher said at least one time the 67-year-old caller asked if someone could send him a ride so he could buy some beer.

...He's charged with making 911 calls in a non-emergency situation.

Sounds like an emergency to me (especially if you're old and dry in Tennessee).
Everyone is entitled to my opinion

That could definately be considered an emergency, IMHO.  I had a 92 year old aunt that called her son in the middle of a business meeting to tell him that, John , Honey..I'm out of Whiskey. She drinks Southern Comfort. He sent someone immediately to get her a bottle. Seems she has a couple of jolts a day. I wanna be just like her, she is my hero. Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
