I think mine is part of this recall based on my model number. Cuisinart site must be getting slammed as it is unresponsive.
This goes back to 1996 and 8 million units

I hope there is a good resolve to this. Very scary ...oral laceration. Reminded me of the grill brush wires breaking off problems.
Luckily, in a flip of the coin we went with Kitchen-Aid for a processor.

The website was working at about 8am and was very easy to register for replacement online. Now let's see how long it takes to ship 8 million pcs
