Sooo, who's cooking at home, who's going out, and who is ordering in? Always curious to hear the plans of others...
For us, we will be having my mom and step dad over. My wife is always given the liberty of selecting the menu for Mother's Day. This year she has requested steak, grilled asparagus and pan fried potatoes. I am not complaining one bit, as that means I will get to fire up the MAK and the Weber kettle. Thinking instead of reverse searing the steaks this time that I will sear on the kettle for a few minutes and then transfer to the MAK running at 275 until finished. While the MAK is doing his thing, I will grill up the asparagus on the kettle. Will be an easy peasy meal to prepare, but my mouth is already watering just thinking about it... not to mention the "pryo side" of me is quite excited
Almost forgot, the majority of our kids have requested hot dogs instead of steak...lol. I have a freezer full of Prime grade ribeyes and filets, and they choose steak. Not sure what that says about my cooking ability...
